Excellent Quality Antique Edwardian Burr Walnut Ladies Writing Desk C1900 Wdb150/16.11

Excellent quality antique edwardian burr walnut ladies writing desk and dating from aorund 1900. It has a low shaped back rail with quartered veneered burr walnut top with moulded edge and above a central frieze drawer with carved shell motiffe below. Either side there are two graduated drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original brass handles and with a shaped frieze support below. It stand son elegant cabriole legs on a pad foot.

The burr walnut is of excellent quality and has a lovely deep colour and patination. Altogether a very nice writing desk.

Measures: height to back rail 31" X 29" high X knee height 23" X 48" wide
