Description

A rare early 19th century Regency mahogany pedestal partners desk. Nine drawers each side (pedestal drawers behind doors) each with working locks with keys, finely matched curl mahogany veneers to doors and drawers, and decorated with fine bobbin reel mouldings. Solid figured mahogany framed top with finely tooled black hide insert.

Circa 1825
