Pair of fine quality late 19th century cast iron fire dogs in the form of lions.

This pair of finely cast fire dogs consist of a pair of lions seated on their hind legs with open mouths, one holding spiral twist support, the other holding plain support leading down to a rope twist edge below and supported on an octagonal base.

This pair are in good condition for age and can go straight into a home etc.
