Description

Stunning circa 1830 William IV period writing table or desk made in rich solid mahogany, having a beautifully shaped and moulded top, over 5 drawers and standing over wonderfully fluted turned and carved legs on the original brass and ceramic castors.

The knee hole has carved leaf and scroll embellishment, and all sides have stunning grain and figuring to the wood.

Size-46.5 inches long by 22.75 inches deep by 29.75 inches high.

This is a generous size for writing or computers, but also a size that will fit into modern homes. Also would make a great dressing table, or side table for serving.

A very flexible piece with an elegant style.

Great colour, patina, and in very good condition.

This is a wonderful functional and important piece for any room.
