An excellent quality Victorian Duchess dressing table, which is very pretty and elegant.
c1870.
Comprising of an adjustable oval swing-mirror, with original mirror, on an ornate stand. Having four jewellery drawers below, flanking a long single drawer to the centre, with shelf above. The serpentine shaped table top has a central drawer. All drawers are mahogany lined, and have turned wooden handles.
Nice rich golden colour to the mahogany, with a lovely untouched patina.
The condition is excellent antique condition. Expected very minor signs of age and use. Minor shrinkage to the wood of the mirror frame, still very strong and intact.
The mirror can be removed from the stand. The stand can be removed from the table if required.
Solid, sturdy and strong.
