Description

A large ornate Victorian cast iron fender complete with its detachable fire iron retainers (often missing). The is no makers name but it is of excellent quality and condition. Completely intact with blacksmith applied rivets flat square head bolt heads and dome head screws (see photos). Ball feet.The retainers are stamped '4'. The fire irons shown in the photographs resting on the retainers are for display only and do not do the fender justice. A grand fireplace is reuired for this piece.
