Late Nineteenth Century Oak Clerks Desk Circa 1880

Description

An unusual desk in solid oak with a cupboard beneath a sliding writing slope. It slides back and forth to aid getting into the seat and adjust the writing position . The seat folds and the desk is on castors. The desk came from a castle in Derbyshire and has keys for the cupboard door and desk lid.
