Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has a moulded top with a quality tooled leather burgundy writing insert above a central drawer over knee hole. Each pedestal has three drawers with moulded handles and stands on cabriole legs. It has been finished at the back so may be placed in the centre of a room and splits into three sections for easy removal. The oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
