A good antique Bijar carpet from the town of Garrus in North West Persia. An incredibly heavy carpet, it must weigh over 50 kilos! Very high quality work, all wool and all vegetable dyes. It is highly unusual to find a carpet of this age and type in this condition. Full pile all over, no repair, just local traces of old mothing here and there. Extremely clean example.
