Dating from around 1815, this antique pine desk is in the original lovely green paint finish. The desk features a caddy style top with a moulded edge, an inverted break front with three moulded fronted drawers over the arched kneehole and a panelled door to each side. In super condition, all so orginal, obviously intended for an important house as the desk has a large overhang to the back of the top edge to accomodate a large skirting board. This English Regency antique painted pine desk is a fabulous shape, it has canted corners to the front and it stands well on turned feet with bracketed shoulders. A lot of detail has gone into the design of this antique desk and also to the fabulous hand painted decorations.
