Description

A good quality Edwardian figured mahogany freestanding Carlton House desk. The upper section with a brass gallery above the shaped superstructure which houses the 4 cockbeaded drawers, 2 small concave shaped cupboard doors and the serpentine shaped falls with 2 conforming drawers below.

The lower section having a pull out writing slide which retains it’s original black tooled leather and ivorine finger pulls. The kneehole having an arrangement of 5 figured mahogany and cockbeaded drawers with decorative pierced corner brackets. The whole raised on square tapering legs with carved capitals, pierced brackets and spade feet.
