Beautifully painted Derby dessert plate after the William Curtis botanical study of the "Large Flowered St. John's Wort". Painted on a plain white ground with simple gilded rim. Scripted title painted to the reverse and red Derby mark for c.1806.
It measures 22.5cm (8 7/8") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") high. Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. The surface of the porcelain is finely crazed and there is very light surface wear.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
Price includes UK postage. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
