Art Nouveau Period Lovely Solid Oak Combination Games Table and Writing Table.

Description

Art Nouveau period lovely solid oak combination swivel action game table and writing table, with leather top over full length divided drawer, and standing on tapering legs with rounded feet.

The Art Nouveau detail includes curved and carved supports as well as beautiful copper handles having flowing heart decoration.

The moulded edge top discretely swivels and folds open to reveal a baize lined surface, suitable for games and cards, as well as occasional dining. When not open as a games table, it makes a lovely leather topped writing table or side table.

Size-30 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 30 inches high closed. Open 30 inches by 34 inches.

A very versatile and unusual piece, with wonderful colour and patina, in very good condition.

Suitable for hall or any room.
