A large mid Victorian mahogany pedestal partners desk of excellent quality.
Having an inset green leather, gold tooled writing surface to the top.
The nine drawers have cock-beading, are of fine dove-tail construction with oak lining. All locks and escutcheons are present.
The opposing side of the desk has two cabinets with drawers above, and one to the centre.
Elegant gilt brass neoclassical design handles.
Standing on bracket shaped feet and castors.
A very handsome, solid and imposing desk of excellent quality.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition, having general, expected signs of age and use.
Dismantles to three sections, the top lifts off leaving the two pedestals, so very easy to maneuver.
