This sits above a bow fronted central drawer over knee hole and each pedestal has three graduating mahogany lined drawers, all with fiddle back mahogany fronts, cross banded edges and quality brass handles. This charming desk stands on four tapering legs with brass castors and has been finished all the way round so may be placed in the centre of a room. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
