19th century copper log bin

A 19th century hammered/beaten copper log bin with iron handles and side rests. In overall very good usable condition. There are the usual small dings etc as to be expected. Has a beautiful copper glow and patina.

Originally this is thought to have been a Turkish cooking vessel hence more wear to the base, this however not affecting it's

structure which is sound and ready to be used as a log or coal bin or for plant/floral displays etc.

size: height is 26 cm(10¼ inches ) 39.5 cm width ( 15½ inches approx across the top), where as the base is 46 cm (18 inches approx ).
