Description

This is a very well made kneehole desk from the latter part of the 19th Century. It is a heavy desk with solid oak linings in the drawers. The desk comes to pieces easily for moving and has a very tidy back if you do not want to put against a wall.

The sides both in the kneehole and out are nicely panelled and the kneehole space itself is a sustantial size. This will suit a tall person as there is a lot of space. The drawers are clean inside and the top two are file drawers, one on each pedestal. Handles are original brass and in good condition. This is a great size desk and would be good for slightly smaller space as it a good width at 154 cms but not as deep as many at 77 cms. It has a rounded mould on the front corners and is in good condition with a new antique finish black tooled leather. A great good looking desk, with chairs to go with if required. We have half a dozen desks in stock at the current time and a number of writing tables.
