A wonderful unusual, very elegant English Regency period dressing chest of drawers.
c1820.
Very fine quality, with lovely richly figured flame mahogany matched venneers.
With an elegant Neo-classical design.

Below this is a slim over hanging drawer, with exquisite gilt metal Tudor Rose motifs to each side of the drawer.
This is over a chest of three long graduating drawers, with original locks and escutcheons. Flanking these three drawers are large figured mahogany classical columns, echoing the design of the top section.

Lovely turned wooden handles to the drawers.
Standing on flattened bun-feet.
A very elegant unusual early 19th century chest of drawers, of excellent quality and craftsmanship.
Having developed a rich warm colour and patina.

The condition is excellent antique condition, having expected general signs of use and wear consistent with age.
Solid, sturdy and strong.
