Three Piece Mahogany Pedestal Desk in the Georgian

1900 - 1920
Description

Three piece Mahogany pedestal desk in the Georgian style Circa 1910-20

A very solid mahogany desk standing on eight acanthus carved leaf ogee feet

Free standing with panelled polished back

Blind fret work to the outer edgings of the pedestals

Top with carved dragooned edging

Good mahogany cross-banded top

Leather is in lovely very useable vintage condition

Quality handle’s that have been waxed and gently

burnished to warm glow

Solid mahogany drawer fronts veneered in highly figured mahogany

Each pedestal stands on four solid castors.
