Description

very nice example of a Victorian oak Dickens style desk.

The top with central spindled gallery back and book stand flanked by two flights of four small drawers, secured with locking bars, black tooled leather writing surfaces, the centre of which is sloped and opens to interior fitted with various compartments, two frieze drawers, the two pedestals each with three further drawers, plinth base.

some marks / scuffs etc commensurate with age and use but overall this lovely desk is in good sound condition.
