Constructed By The Renowned Cabinet Makers Waring And Gillows And Dating From Around 1910 In the Edwardian era, this splendid desk may be placed in the centre of the room as it is finished all the way around. It has a rectangular moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above three moulded drawers with decorative blind fretwork carvings and two smaller drawers all with the original brass pear drop handles and large knee hole.
The oak has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
