A really interesting oak Georgian period kneehole desk. This type of desk is more often found in mahogany and this must be a country estate made piece. The desk is in good original condition with all the original brass handles. The drawers are all oak lined and the desk overall is of a very good quality. The central cupboard retains the original lock and key. The feet have had some old repair but it does still have the original castors. The desk is in country house condition, it does have the odd knock and there are splits in the timber on the sides. The desk has a great colour and light oak patina.
