Description

A Victorian walnut and inlaid davenport . The top having a domed lidded stationary compartment with inlaid banding of satinwood between boxwood and ebony stringing. The cross banded and inlaid fall with thumb moulded edge and hand dyed green leather writing surface. The right side having 4 graduated and mahogany lined drawers each with turned pulls and working locks and keys with dummy drawers to the opposing side. The front having further inlay and applied decorative turnings and the whole stands on a plinth base with brown china casters. Condition - Excellent. Sizes:- Height...33''/ 84cm. Width...21''/ 53.5cm. Depth...21.25''/ 54cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £45.
