Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk

This Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk Dates from Around 1870 And Has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and the original characterful tooled leather writing insert. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with moulded edges and decorative brass handles. This splendid desk stands on a moulded plinth and splits into three sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Width: 123 cm / 48.5 inches

Depth : 53 cm / 21 inches
