Description

A late 19th Century freestanding rosewood davenport inlaid with satinwood and boxwood. The top having a shaped upstand to the lidded stationary compartment which opens to a well fitted mahogany interior. The rosewood and boxwood lined fall with a replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface which lifts to reveal a mahogany interior with 2 useful drawers. To the right hand side are 4 graduated drawers with conforming dummy drawers to the left and all retaining original brass handles. Condition - Very good with working locks and keys and standing on the original castors.

Sizes - Height 34'' / 87cm. Width 21.25'' / 54cm. Depth 20.5'' / 57cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
