A very good quality Yomut carpet or rug, deep red in colour and a most convenient size. Very slightly worn on the edge of one side and in the middle.
The Yomut carpet is a type of Turkmen rug traditionally handwoven by the Yomut or Yomud, one of the major tribes of Turkmenistan. A Yomut design is featured on the coat of arms and the flag of Turkmenistan.
