Dating from ca. 1860 this figured Mahogany Victorian antique partners desk is of large proportions.
The top has a beautifully figured mahogany moulded edge and green tooled leather writing insert above five working draws on each side with turned Mahogany handles and beautifully turned legs. This superb antique is full of the beautiful charm and character that you would expect to find from a piece of this age and it is a rich mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
