Mahogany Inlaid Centre Writing Desk

A very elegant and beautifully inlaid writing desk of perfect proportions.

The rectangular top with a tooled sage green leather surface above a large centre drawer with foliage and ribbon inlay, flanked either side by four smaller drawers, again, with delicate ribbon and foliage inlay. All the drawers have tooled brass knop handles.

The slightly tapering legs with fine satinwood inlay stringing terminate with brass caps and castors.

On the the front and the left drawers, there are two small details of veneer missing which are hardly noticeable.
