Description

This is one of the best examples we have come across, most certainly from the Gillows Lancaster workshop. This dates from 1860 and is an English example of a French Louis style desk. The veneers are perfectly matched and the ormolu mounts are in exceptional condition and crisp. The shape is fantastic and the desk is in excellent condition with original leather top. Fantastic inlaid marquetry flowers to add to the quality of the desk.
