It has a black tooled writing insert surrounded by a moulded edge above two drawers with decorative pierced cup handles. It has the original makers plaque ‘Simpoles of Manchester’ and stands on four beautifully turned legs with castors. This quality piece is full of the beautiful charm and character you expect to see with a true antique and has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
