1902-1913 Locke and Co. Worcester Bowl.

Description

1902-1913 small bowl by Locke and Co. Worcester.

Edward Locke was a senior artist and master potter at Grainger's factory. He left there to produce his own porcelain in 1895.

The bowl is decorated with graduated shadings of colour, with gilt trim on the ruffled edge, while the body is comprised of raised acanthus leaf carved rosettes.

Very unusual.

Size-3.5 inches diameter by 2.25 inches high.

In very good condition.
