With Chippendale Influences, this Quality Edwardian Walnut Antique Writing Desk dates from ca. 1900.
This wonderful desk has an early burgundy tooled leather writing insert above a kneehole with shelf and flanked by four drawers with the original brass handles. The desk stands on four tapering legs with castors, is full of the lovely charm and character and has aged to a warm medium walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
