Beautifully decorated pair of late Meigi period satsuma Chargers. Painted with radiating swirls and panels of birds and flowers, which are much finer than most painting of the period. The pair are both marked and also have an unusual impressed mark. The pair are in very good condition no chips or cracks with some slight loss to the enamel deocration. A very fine and decorative pair of plates. C.1900.
