Edwardian Walnut Antique Writing Desk

Dating from Around 1900 In the Edwardian Period, This Walnut Antique Writing Desk has a rectangular moulded top with a green tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over knee hole. This is flanked by two smaller cock beaded drawers with decorative brass rococo swan neck handles. This superb table stands on elegant carved cabriole legs with beautiful ball and claw feet. The walnut has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
