An unusual figured mahogany free standing slope top desk. The top with a very well carved open gallery and hand dyed green leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. The front having 9 graduated cedar lined drawers, each with brass ring handles and escutcheons. The free standing back mirrors the front with dummy drawers, handles and escutcheons. Each side with a pull out cock beaded pen and ink drawer and both pedestals standing on offset plinth bases with hidden castors. Sizes:- Width...36''...92cm. Depth...23''...59cm. Max.
