Large Quality Edwardian Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk

Of Super Large Proportions, This Marvellous Edwardian Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk dates from around 1910. With a rectangular moulded top and burgundy tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer, over knee hole. Each pedestal has three graduating cock beaded drawers with the original brass swan neck handles. This amazing desk stands on eight shaped cabriole legs and has been finished at the back so may be placed in the centre of a room if so desired, and splits into three sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
