Beautiful Victorian Antique Pedestal Desk

This Beautiful Victorian Antique Pedestal Desk circa, 1870 has a rectangular moulded top with a burgundy tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with moulded edges and beautifully turned handles. This marvellous piece stands on a simple moulded plinth and splits into three sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
