Georgian Style Mahogany Pedestal Desk. C. 1870

Description

Good 19th century Georgian style mahogany three part pedestal desk. The drawers with cock beaded edges, brass plate handles and all are mahogany lined. The brass handles are not original but look perfectly OK, it has had knobs of some sort originally.

The green leather top is in very good order and is an old one.

Very nice design desk with bracket feet all round. Just a wee bit better than the normal run-of-the-mill Victorian pedestal desks you see.

SIZES; 49" long by 25" front to back by 31" high
