Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
At the front are two drawers, again with brass beading and the original locks and key. At each end are sections with ribbed brass. The desk is polished on all sides making the piece freestanding. The whole piece stands on four simple but elegant turned legs with a cast brass bezel at the top and brass fluting, finishing on cast brass bun feet. Excellent colour and great condition.
Size 74cm high x 100cm wide x 60cm deep.
