Exquisite Early 19th Century French Ladies Desk

Description

Exquisite early 19th century French cabriole leg ladies desk of small dainty size. The desk is veneered in kingwood and burr yew-wood with tiny brass stringing around the inlaid sections.

The cabriole legs have all their original gilded mounts both top and bottom. The drawer is polished mahogany lined and pulls out to a stop with the top sliding backwards to gain full access.

The piece is of an extremely high standard of craftsmanship and is in very good condition for age.
