Late Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Davenport

Description

Circa 1890, late Victorian inlaid mahogany davenport in figured mahogany, the top is surmounted by a brass gallery which opens to reveal a stationery compartment, above a maroon skiver surrounded by boxwood, satinwood and ebony inlay. Below this are 4 graduating drawers with brass handles opposing dummy drawers.
