Four of the drawers have locks, with an individual numbered key to each lock.

Elegant brass-drop handles. Standing on short-cabriole supports.
Very solid sturdy and strong, all drawers open smoothly.
The back of the desk is finished so could be used as a partners desk, or in the centre of a room. Drawers are only to one side.

Dismantles into three sections, the top lifts of, leaving the two pedestals.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition, having general expected signs of use consistent with age, but really very minor. The top is very good, no scratches or marks.
