Pallant Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Opening the piano-lid reveals a sliding drawer with an adjustable writing slope inset with a newly fitted black leather inlay with gold and blind tooling, two drawers and an arrangement of pen trays and compartments.
With four drawers to the right side with turned wooden handles, brass locks and escutcheons and four dummy drawers to the left. All standing on flattened bun feet. This very rare piece of fine Victorian furniture is made from oak so very sought after.
