Large Edwardian Walnut Antique Pedestal Desk

This Large Edwardian Walnut Antique Pedestal Desk circa, 1910 has a rectangular moulded top with the early / original burgundy tooled leather writing insert, above a large central drawer and over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with the original brass swan neck handles. The edges are reeded, the sides are beautifully panelled and the back is finished. This appealing desk stands on a moulded plinth with castors and splits into three sections for easy removal. The walnut has aged to a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
