Spectacular Victorian Satin Birch Antique Pedestal Desk

This Spectacular Victorian Satin Birch Antique Pedestal Desk circa, 1880 has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and inverted break front centre with early tooled leather writing insert and an amazing decorative carved frieze over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with the original turned handles. This splendid antique stands on a moulded rounded plinth with castors. The Satin Birch has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
