Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers. The drawer fronts have tapered edges and unusual birch fronts with brass swan neck handles and reeded sides. This charming desk stands on a plain plinth and is full of the charm and character that you can expect from a true antique and also splits into three sections for easy removal. The Walnut and birch has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
