It has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and the early original tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with moulded edges and pear drop handles. This charismatic desk stands on a moulded plinth and splits into three sections for easy removal. The Walnut has aged to a warm mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
