It has a rectangular moulded top above a central green tooled leather writing insert, above five mahogany lined drawers with the original arts and crafts design brass handles. This splendid desk has a central knee hole with shaped corner brackets and two unusual lower tiers, and wonderful turned upright supports with small turned feet with black porcelain castors. This super piece is full of the charm and character that you would expect from a true antique. The Oak has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
