Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Below this on the front is a long drawer with a leathered writing surface which is retractable and can be tilted. On either side are four short drawers with oak liners and original brass swan neck handles. The back side is the same as the front. The gables are polished and the desk is freestanding. All standing on eight tapering feet with a slight reeding. Solid, sturdy and functional.
Size 80cm high x 186cm wide x 96cm deep.
