A fine example of a ladies lap desk made from Rosewood. All in great condition with no defects. It's Designed with mother of pearl all around with an engraving in the center; Elizabeth. Dating back to William III, C.1830. Opens up in such a way you can use on your lap. Inside it has it's original velvet. Has small compartments to store small objects. Comes with fully functioning lock and key.
